Introduction
Zeolite catalyst ZSM-22 (Zeolite Socony Mobil-22 or ZSM-22 zeolite powder), is a synthetic zeolite with a crystal type of TON. The skeleton of ZSM-22 is ten-membered rings, its main channels are one-dimensional straight-through channels without intersections, and the pore size is approximately 0.45 nm×0.55 nm.
ZSM-22 molecular sieves have only one-directional pores, and molecular diffusion exhibits strong directionality, making them suitable for linear molecular reactions. This structure endows them with special shape-selective catalytic capabilities. ZSM-22 zeolite molecular sieves contain Brønsted acid centers, which can catalyze reactions such as isomerization, cracking, and dewaxing of hydrocarbons. By adjusting the silica-alumina ratio, its acid density and acid strength can be changed.
