Introduction
Zeolite molecular sieve 13X-APG is a crystalline aluminosilicate, also known as zeolite 13X-APG. It is the sodium form of type X zeolite, with a pore size of approximately 10 angstroms (1 nm). Molecules with a kinetic diameter smaller than 10 angstroms will be adsorbed by type 13X-APG molecular sieve, otherwise, be excluded.
APG stands for Air Prepurification Gas. And zeolite 13X-APG, is a specially engineered type of 13X molecular sieve developed for air cryo-separation industry, applicable to any size of air cryo-separation devices. Compared with conventional 13X molecular sieves, 13X-APG molecular sieve has a strong selective adsorption capacity for water and carbon dioxide, making it widely used in cryogenic air separation, natural gas purification, industrial air drying etc.
13X-APG molecular sieve possesses excellent adsorption kinetics, high mechanical strength, low attrition rate, superior thermal stability, and outstanding regeneration performance, allowing repeated adsorption-desorption cycles with minimal loss of capacity. These characteristics ensure long service life, stable operation, and reduced operating costs in cryogenic air separation systems.
