Introduction
Activated alumina for hydrogen peroxide (also known as hydrogen peroxide alumina), is a kind of aluminum oxide specially designed for the production and purification of hydrogen peroxide. It is applicable to most industrial hydrogen peroxide production via anthraquinone process, and has a long service life.
In the anthraquinone process for hydrogen peroxide production, activated alumina is an indispensable adsorbent and regeneration catalyst for the entire system. Activated alumina plays a core role in the regeneration of anthraquinone degradation products, removal of alkaline impurities, deep dehydration, decomposition of residual hydrogen peroxide, and filtration and adsorption of metallic impurities. Furthermore, activated alumina also ensures stable system operation and reduces raw material consumption.
