Introduction
Activated alumina defluorination adsorbent, is a kind of aluminum oxide specially designed for removal of fluorides (especially fluoride ion) from water or other fluids. It has a strong affinity for fluorides, and can form hydrogen bonds or undergo ion exchange with fluoride ions.
Activated alumina defluoridation agent primarily rely on ion exchange and surface adsorption involving surface hydroxyl groups and fluoride ions. It firmly adsorb fluoride ions from the water onto the material's surface, thereby reducing fluoride levels and ensuring the treated water meets standards for drinking or industrial use.
Activated alumina adsorbent for defluorination also possesses the advantages of high water absorption rate, strong selective adsorption ability, high acid and alkali tolerance, low wear rate and long cycle life.
