Introduction
Zeolite catalyst ZSM-48 (Zeolite Socony Mobil-48 or ZSM-48 zeolite powder), is a synthetic zeolite with a crystal type of MRE. The skeleton of ZSM-48 is one-dimensional ten-membered rings, but has more zig-zag channels and often contains additional micropores or cross-defects, and the pore size is approximately 0.53nm×0.56nm.
ZSM-48 molecular sieve has a higher silica alumina ratio (generally >100), resulting in low acid site strength but excellent hydrothermal stability. ZSM-48 molecular sieve exhibit moderate diffusivity and unique selectivity. Furthermore, its acidity can be adjusted by introducing heteroatoms (such as Ti, V, Cr, etc.), thereby optimizing the catalytic activity.
