SSZ-39 zeolite catalyst, is a high-silica microporous molecular sieve with an AEI topology, belonging to a typical eight-membered ring microporous molecular sieve. Its framework is mainly composed of Si, Al, and O, with regular microporous channels and cage-like structure, and strong acidic centers.
SSZ-39 molecular sieve exhibits excellent small-pore sieving performance, making it suitable for the selective adsorption and catalytic conversion of small molecules. Its large specific surface area and micropore volume is beneficial for the dispersion of active components and the diffusion of reactants. Furthermore, SSZ-39 demonstrates good hydrothermal stability and high selective catalytic reduction activity for NOx.
Therefore, the most representative application of SSZ-39 zeolite is the preparation of Cu-SSZ-39 catalysts for NOx removal from diesel engines, heavy vehicles, and industrial exhaust gases.
