Introduction
SSZ-13 catalyst, is a CHA structure type molecular sieve with unique eight-membered ring pores, and is one of the most important molecular sieves in environmental catalysis, especially in diesel vehicle exhaust denitrification (SCR). SSZ-13 has become the industry standard in NH₃-SCR catalyst systems.
SSZ-13 molecular sieve features a three-dimensional cross-pore structure system, allowing NH₃, NO, and NO₂ to enter while hindering the entry of large SO₂ oxides and hydrocarbons, thus exhibiting natural resistance to poisoning. Its interior consists of regular CHA cages, firmly anchoring metal ions such as Cu²⁺ and Fe³⁺ within these cages, which is the core reason for its resistance to hydrothermal aging and high-temperature stability.
SSZ-13 SCR catalyst is the most successful material in exhaust gas denitrification today, it is a specialty molecular sieve designed for NH₃-SCR.
