Introduction
Molecular sieve 4A zeolite powder or zeolite powder 4A, is the sodium form of the type A molecular sieve with a pore size of about 4 angstroms (0.4 nm). It can selectively adsorb small molecules such as water (H2O), ammonia (NH3), carbon dioxide (CO2), and ethanol, etc.
Zeolite powder 4A appears as a white, fine powder; it is the powder type molecular sieve 4A. And it can be processed into balls, strips, or irregular shapes by mixing with binder and other additives, to form molecular sieves or directly to make activated powders after high temperature calcination.
The sodium ions in the 4A molecular sieve raw powder can be exchanged to transform into other A-type molecular sieves with different pore diameters, such as 3A and 5A. 4A zeolite powder can also be directly used as an additive for materials like PVC and PP, or as a carrier for some catalytic reactions.
